The Research Frontline - Journal
##issue.vol## 1 ##issue.no## 1 (2026)Under the aegis of CDFA Research Foundation, New Delhi, and published by Allahabad Academic Press, the inaugural issue of The Research Frontline – Journal (TRF-J) marks a significant milestone in India’s academic and policy discourse. Following the Call for Papers in October 2025, TRF-J received over 100 abstracts from scholars across diverse disciplines, ultimately selecting 21 high-quality papers that exemplify rigorous research, critical inquiry, and multidisciplinary engagement.
In an era of rapidly transforming global realities, the need for a rigorous, accessible, and multidisciplinary academic platform has never been greater. TRF-J emerges in response to this intellectual and civic imperative — to bridge the worlds of research, policy, and public discourse through informed scholarship. It is a peer-reviewed, quarterly, online, and open-access journal, dedicated to advancing research, scholarship, and advocacy by providing an inclusive space for academics, researchers, practitioners, and policy thinkers to publish work that interrogates contemporary questions of governance, economy, culture, and society.
At its core, TRF-J seeks to address persistent gaps in India’s research and policy ecosystem, where the demand for timely, analytical, and interdisciplinary publications often outpaces availability. Many journals today remain constrained by prohibitive submission fees, narrow thematic focus, or extended publication lags that compromise the contemporary relevance of scholarship. TRF-J counters these limitations by ensuring rigorous peer-review standards, meticulous editorial processes, and free public access to knowledge that matters.
Reflecting its multidisciplinary vision, this inaugural issue includes contributions spanning Economics, Political Science, History, Public Finance, Governance, Culture, International Relations and Security, Political and Defence Strategy, Public Enterprises, Literature, Language, and Science and Technology Policy. The journal welcomes original research papers, analytical essays, book reviews, and commentaries, emphasizing both theoretical innovation and applied policy relevance.
TRF-J envisions itself not merely as a repository of research but as a forum of ideas, a meeting ground for scholars and practitioners committed to fostering dialogue between academia and governance, critical reflection and practical application. By nurturing critical thinking, encouraging young scholars, and providing a platform for informed discourse, TRF-J aspires to become a leading voice in contemporary academic and policy debates, contributing meaningfully to the shaping of equitable, informed, and forward-looking societies.

The Research Frontline - Journal
##issue.vol## 1 ##issue.no## 2 (2026)Volume 1, Issue 2 (January–March 2026) of The Research Frontline – Journal marks an important milestone in our journey of building a credible, inclusive, and intellectually vibrant academic platform. As we present this issue to you, we do so with a deep sense of responsibility and gratitude, for both our contributors and our readers.
When we opened submissions for this issue, we were encouraged by an overwhelming response. A total of 734 manuscripts were received at the abstract stage, reflecting not only the growing trust in our journal but also the urgency and diversity of contemporary research concerns. After a careful and rigorous screening process, 50 manuscripts were invited for full paper submission. Each of these was then subjected to a thorough peer review process conducted under the guidance of our independent editorial board, ensuring academic integrity, originality, and relevance.
Finally, we are proud to present 30 carefully selected research papers in this issue, each contributing meaningfully to ongoing scholarly conversations. These papers span a wide range of themes and disciplines, embodying our commitment to interdisciplinary engagement and critical inquiry.
As you engage with this issue, we invite you to not just read, but to reflect, question, and participate in the dialogue these works seek to initiate. The Research Frontline is not merely a journal, it is a space for ideas to meet, evolve, and challenge existing boundaries.
TRF-J is published by Allahabad Academic Press, an independent academic publishing initiative committed to promoting rigorous scholarship, critical inquiry, and inclusive intellectual exchange.
